In our Let's Talk Sugar! community project, Amanda Moore from the HEAL-D research team worked with graphic artist Annie Nicholson and children at Hackney New School to raise awareness of type 2 diabetes and how lifestyle changes can reduce risk, and stimulate discussion between generations through art.  

 

The project was funded by King's College London's Cultural Institute's Early Career Researcher's programme.
