Our other research studies

Our research team, led by Dr Louise Goff, is focused on developing our understanding of the mechanisms behind type 2 diabetes in the UK African and Caribbean population and improving health outcomes for our communities. You can find out more about our current studies and how you can get involved below.

This research aims to assess how type 2 diabetes develops in White European and Black West African ethnic groups to help to improve future prevention and treatment strategies. Participants will have their risk for diabetes measured and will be reimbursed up to £260 for their time. 

The Attitude Study
